There are numerous applications of transcatheter techniques in the management of patients after Fontan procedures. These procedures are generally safe and highly successful. They tend to improve the hemodynamics and/or preserve the adequacy of the circulation in these patients. We believe that a strategy that allows to optimize a naturally imperfect circulation, will improve the longterm results of Fontan operation.
