Abstract

The new 2024 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) clinical practice guidelines for the management of chronic coronary syndromes (CCS) revise the previous 2019 version and the 2018 myocardial revascularization guidelines, so that they serve as a double document....The aim of this article is to highlight the state-of the-art in CCS and compare the selected classes of recommendations and levels of evidence with the previous versions of the guidelines developed by the ESC, American Heart Association (AHA) and American College of Cardiology (ACC).
