ETHICS IN RESEARCH
The Argentine Journal of Cardiology (RAC) requires that all research submitted for publication be conducted in accordance with internationally accepted ethical principles and applicable regulations.
Studies involving human subjects must adhere to the principles set forth in the Declaration of Helsinki and, where appropriate, obtain approval from an ethics committee or institutional review board. Furthermore, informed consent must be obtained from participants whenever applicable.
Studies involving animals must comply with current national and international standards regarding their care and use in research and must have the corresponding institutional approval.
Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest and guarantee the originality of their submitted work. The Journal does not accept plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, or other forms of scientific misconduct.
The RAC maintains specific policies regarding informed consent, human and animal rights, conflicts of interest, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and other issues related to scientific integrity. These policies are an integral part of the Journal's editorial policy and must be observed by all authors submitting manuscripts for consideration.
