Aims and scopes


The Argentine Journal of Cardiology was founded in 1934, with the most renowned specialists of that time fulfilling different functions. The creation of the Journal was the keystone upon which the Argentine Society of Cardiology was founded on the following year.

Argentine Journal of Cardiology (AJC) is a bimonthly publication (February, June, August, October, December), edited in Buenos Aires by the Argentine Society of Cardiology. Its main objective is to disseminate original scientific articles on the different specialties of Cardiology in Argentina and Latin America. It covers all the topics of the specialty and is addressed to clinical and interventional cardiologists, internists, intensivists, general and family physicians.
