his is a 66 years old female with the chief compliants of heavinnes, coldness, pain in the lower extremities and atypical chest pain of five months duration. Physical examen shows irregular pulse with extra beats. EKG findings: supraventricular arrhythmia with frequent extrasystoles. X-ray thorax revealed dilated right auricle.Echocardiogram show an intracavitary non mobile, solid mass, fixed to the lateral wall of right auricle. CT scan show the same echocardiogram findings and it also shows that the mass was extending to the aorta and pulmonary artery. NMR revealed increased cardiac silhouette due to solid and homogeneous mass fixed to the lateral wall of right atrium compressing the pulmonary artery trunk, ascending portion of the aorta and the anterior wall of the superior vena cava. The NMR show that the RCA was completely surrounded by this mass wich appears to be infiltrating some of this structures. At surgery a solid homogeneous encapsulated mass of 10x6x4 cm was resected. It was seen that the tumor was infiltrating the outflow tract of the right ventricle and the interventricular septum. Six centimeter of the right coronary were resected and a by-pass procedure was performed to the distal right coronary artery. Five days after surgery the patient expired after been treated agressively for right heart failure. Pathology findings:cavernous hemangioma of the right atrium. After checking all the world data only six cases of this typeof rare tumor was found.
